Bagoly from Duna-R is an indeterminate hybrid with hanging, white, smooth, sweet extremely thick-walled fruits of slightly elongated blocky shape and 3-4 lobes. The fruits weigh 150-190 g, are white at harvesting maturity and red at full ripening. It has moderately strong vigor, and it grows very strong, thick branches and roots. Suitable for greenhouse and open field production. Production is most efficient if applying 1- or 2-branch pruning or if trained on cordon without pruning. Transplanting is recommended from mid-March till mid-July. In a greenhouse, plant 4-4.5 plants and in open field 5-6 plants in each m2. Its outstanding quality, mostly extra size fruits can be transported well, have a long shelf life and are exportable.
