In terms of sunflower, there is a growing demand for high oleic acid oil, as well as finding new solutions for farmers, using Clearfield technology to control monocotyledonous and dicotyledonous weeds, as well as Orobanche parasite, a parasite that spreads year after year.
     Worldwide, there is a growing demand for rapeseed oil used mainly for biodiesel. In the maize crop, the demand for diversification of production, for starch, for grinding, for fodder, for bioethanol is increasing from year to year.
     In recent years, in the straw crop, we notice a tendency to increase the pressure of pathogens that can inevitably lead to a qualitative depreciation of agricultural production. Thus, Syngenta comes to the aid of Romanian farmers with an integrated technology for combating superior genetics and a complete crop protection program that starts from seed treatment and ends with the third treatment to combat Fusarium at ear.
