Santamaria F1 is a semi-early hybrid with a vegetation period for the summer crop of 75-85 days, and for the autumn crop it is 80-85 days.
It has very high resistance to thermal stress, so it can be planned for summer cultivation.
The foliage made of broad leaves perfectly covers the inflorescence from spring to autumn, the self-covering being very good.
In the summer heat, the inner leaves covering the head are not sensitive to edge necrosis (lack of calcium).
It can be grown with confidence from spring to late autumn, in intensive and semi-intensive conditions.
Under normal growing conditions and with proper fertilization, the inner leaves can cover even an inflorescence of 2.5-3 kg.
Recommended for both fresh consumption and industrialization, and after harvest the inflorescences can be stored very well in cold stores.
