Balkan F1 is a parthenocarpic cucumber hybrid, recommended for cultivation in greenhouses and fields. It has a short growing season from seedling to fruiting, 43 – 48 days when grown in early spring and 35 – 40 days in summer crop. The taste is very good, Balkan F1 is suitable both for fresh consumption and for preservation. The fruits are dark green in color with prominent spines. The fruits have an average length of 10 - 12 cm and a weight of 100 - 110 g, being the perfect choice for preservation. The plant is balanced, with good vigour, and the binding is excellent, ensuring continuity in the harvest. Balkan F1 stands out for its high productivity. Resistances: HR: CCu, Px; IR: CMV.
