Osmocote CalMag 10.4-7.6-0+17CaO+5MgO

Osmocote CalMag 10.4-7.6-0+17CaO+5MgO is a fully coated calcium and magnesium fertilizer. Controlled release nitrogen, calcium and magnesium in one product. For pot plants, bedding plants, perennials and container nursery stock crops, providing extra calcium and magnesium. Ideal for mixing in substrates and beneficial in peat reduced growing media (substrates with woodfibre, bark, cocopeat, compost). Very suitable to use in combination with other Osmocotes and water soluble fertilizers.

Longevity: 3-4 month

Advantages:

• Lower emissions of nutrients, compared to water soluble calcium nitrate.

Product composition:
- 10.4% Nitrogen total (N), 9.2% Nitrate nitrogen (N-NO3)
- 7.6% fosfor
-   5% Magnesium Oxide (MgO) - Water soluble
- 17% Calcium oxide (CaO) - Water soluble

Directions for use:
   It is recommended to use Osmocote CalMag in combination with other Osmocote products (Osmocote Exact) or water-soluble fertilizers. Contact your ICL Specialty Fertilizers advisor for recommendations tailored to your crops;
   The recommended application method is mixing into the substrate to obtain good granule distribution.
   The product is ideal for use in specific situations where extra calcium or magnesium is needed. For example:
    - Soft water conditions, where Osmocote CalMag can be used as base application of calcium and magnesium
    - Peat-reduced potting soils, where Osmocote CalMag can compensate the nitrogen consumption of the materials and lack of calcium due to no or less liming.
    - Crops with a high nutrition need for calcium or magnesium.

Recommended rates:

100% Osmocote*	1 g/l
50% Osmocote + 50% Water soluble fertilizer	1.5-2 g/l
100% Water soluble fertilizer	2 g/l

*It is recommended to adjust the rate of Osmocote Exact when Osmocote CalMag is mixed in.

Important: Max. dosage starter fertilizer is 0.5 kg/m3 growing medium. Max. rates are based on pot volumes. Plant hole dibbling and side dibbling are not recommended. In case of pre-mixing in growing medium bunker, please consult your ICL Specialty Fertilizers advisor.
