Bonta F1 is a Crimson type watermelon hybrid with super early maturity. It reaches maturity in about 75 days after transplantation. The vigorous, healthy plants provides good fruit cover. The shape of the fruit is spherical and the stripes are specific to Crimson melons. The pulp is firm, crisp, deep red in color and of excellent eating quality (very sweet and flavorful). The fruit are nearly perfectly round in shape, averaging 29 x 24 cm in size and 7 – 8 kg in weight, depending on the growing conditions. The resilient rind of this watermelon hybrid makes it an excellent resistance to transport.
