Cory F1 is a Galia type, early watermelon hybrid. It is intended for field cultivation, reaching maturity in about 75 days after planting. It forms vigorous plants, whose flowering and ripening is very concentrated. The fruits have an average weight of 1.2-1.5 kg, round shape, very uniform. The fruits have a yellow-green color in the immature phase and reach light orange when ripe. The fruit is covered with a fine mesh specific to Galia melons. Storage capacity and transport resistance are superior, Cory being an ESL (extended shelf life) hybrid while the outstanding quality is specific to the CIRO-LINE premium range of which this hybrid is part. Resistant to fusariosis (F - Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. Melonis, Race 0,1,2 - R), MNSV (Melon Necrotic Spot Virus - R), powdery mildew (Sphaerotheca fuliginea - IR).
