Red Knight F1 is a hybrid of California pepper. It has large to extra-large fruit that mature from dark-green to bright-red and maintain good quality at maturity. Red Knight has a vigorous, compact, indeterminate plant reaching a height of approx. 50 - 60 cm. Early hybrid, 65 - 70 days after transplanting. The foliage is well developed which gives the fruit a good sun protection. The weight of the fruit is 200 - 350 gr. It is very productive, the fruits are large or very large, have 3-4 lobes and about 11 x 11 cm, excellent quality and very thick pulp, 7-8 mm. Excellent taste (sweet). Ideal for greenhouse production, but can be cultivated in the open field as well. Excellent yield, commercial appearance, minimal losses. Resistant to: BST (Bacterial spot, Xanthomonas axonopodis strains I, 2 and 3), PVY (Potato virus Y strains PO).
