Adjuvant SPRAYGARD provides maximum protection against the wash-off of the solution from plants in case of irrigated crops or rain occurring shortly after application (approximately 30 minutes after the solution has dried on the plant).
It improves the adhesion of plant surface for plant protection products (herbicides, fungicides, insecticides, and growth regulators used in mixtures), increasing the effectiveness of treatments and extending the period of action of the applied products.
It protects against the degradation and volatilization of active substances under the influence of sunlight when treatments are conducted at high temperatures.
Active ingredient: 400 g/l di-1-p menthene polymer + ethoxylated alcohol 18%
How to use Adjuvant SPRAYGARD:
Spraygard can be used in all agricultural crops, in mixture with herbicides, fungicides, insecticides, and growth regulators as follows:
1) In combination with herbicides:
• Dosage: 100 ml/ha, regardless of the solution quantity.
• Reduces phytotoxicity issues, especially when using non-selective herbicides for the crop.
• Protects against wash-off by rain occurring after treatment.
• Provides better and prolonged effectiveness when using glyphosate-based products.
2) In combination with fungicides:
• Dosage: 100 ml/ha, regardless of the solution quantity.
• Reduces phytotoxicity issues when using systemic fungicides in cool and rainy springs.
• Extends the effect of contact fungicide treatments for various crops, particularly potatoes.
• Protects against wash-off by rain shortly after treatment.
**Caution: Do not use in combination with herbicides for pea crops!**
3) In combination with insecticides:
• Dosage: 100 ml/ha, regardless of the solution quantity.
• Extends the action period of applied products.
• Prevents wash-off by rain of the applied product.
4) In combination with growth regulators (CCC-based):
• Spraygard has a penetrating and protective effect against wash-off.
• Promotes better product absorption by the plant under low-temperature conditions during application.
For cereal crops: 0.4 l/ha in 200 – 500 l/ha water, at GS 87 stage of crop development or when grain moisture is around 30%. Using Spraygard as an adjuvant will reduce the risk of grain germination in the spike, maintain the Hargberg index at normal values, and improve crop quality.
For vegetable, fruit, ornamental plants, and turf crops: Spraygard can be used before or immediately after transplanting to reduce water loss. Prepare a 2% concentration solution and apply it directly through spraying on the plants or, if the plants are small, by immersing them in the solution.
**Caution: Do not apply the solution to plant roots.**
For cultivated turf that will be transplanted: Apply a 450 l/ha solution (2% concentration Spraygard) 24 hours before uncovering the turf strips. You can also apply it immediately after placing the turf in its final location.
Solution Preparation:
Depending on the required solution quantity per hectare, pour half of the required water into the applicator tank, add the product quantity, and agitate thoroughly. Then, top up the tank with the remaining water while continuing to agitate.
Compatibility:
Spraygard can be used in a tank-mix with approved plant protection products and trace elements (boron salts, chelated trace elements, copper, iron, magnesium, micronutrients, sulfur, etc.), following their usage recommendations. For added safety, it is recommended to perform a compatibility test in advance.
