GEOSEMSELECT Ltd is the first commercial company in Bulgaria working in tomato breeding and hybrid seed production. Created in 1990 by prof. Hristo Georgiev, the company has more than 28 years experience in producing high quality varieties. The company is backed by more than 60 years of tomato breeding experience it’s creator brought as one of the most renown Bulgarian tomato breeders.

     GEOSEMSELECT is the owner of 20 hybrid tomato varieties bred by prof. Hristo Georgiev. Four of the varieties he co-created with scientists from the Institute of Plant Physiology and Genetics. The company owns and maintains all of it’s parental lines.
     The hybrid tomato varieties created by GEOSEMSELECT are created to provide reliability, high quality and productivity. The varieties are actively grown in a number of Balkan countries and across Eastern Europe. Providing clear advantages to the grower our varieties are performing well in variety of conditions – from fast spring production up until late autumn.
     In addition to the hybrid varieties GEOSEMSELECT is producing a number of open pollinated varieties, created by prof. Hristo Georgiev in co-authoring with prof. Bistra Atanasova from the Institute of Plant Physiology and Genetics.
     Currently GEOSEMSELECT breeds and produces long cucumber, gherkins, melons, peppers and other vegetables seeds. The company trades with quality pepper, radish, zucchini, cabbage, melon, watermelon, celery, parsley, carrot and other vegetable seeds.
