Este un hibrid de varza de toamna, avand o perioada de vegetatie de 125 zile de la plantare. Plantarea se recomanda in perioada mai-jumatatea lunii iunie, realizand o densitate de 28.000-40.000 plante/ha. Frunzele au o structura externa fina, gust placut. Datorita continutului ridicat de substanta uscata se depozitea foarte bine la rece pana la sfarsitul lunii mai, fara nicio pierdere a calitatii.Capatana cantareste 3-4 kg. Prezinta rezistenta la conditii de stres si la trips.
