The drip tape starter valve is used to detach the drip tape from the PE irrigation pipe, or in rare cases, from a PVC pipe. The main pipe size is typically DN25 or larger. When the valve is open, the irrigation flow starts through the drip tapes when pressure is applied.
When inserting the drip tape into the fitting, press it until it stops, ensuring that the tape stands perpendicular during the connection. The installation process is trouble-free when the drip tape is cut straight. Push the drip tape into the inner rim of the compression ring and then twist the compression ring backward to secure the drip tape into the starter valve.
To connect the starter valve to the main irrigation pipe, drill a 10mm hole using a manual drill or punch, and then insert the valve's starting part into the hole. Attaching the fitting to the pipe is straightforward and does not require specialized knowledge.
