The Dobrogea variety is a Romanian alfalfa variety resistant to drought, high regeneration capacity and high production potential.
Dobrogea offered, compared to the control, a similar vigour but with much better drought and fall resistance. Disease resistance is also very good.
In year 1, the maximum drought resistance offered by Dobrogea reduces the risk for farmers when establishing crops in dry years, when lack of water can be a determining factor for crop success.
The biological characteristics of the Dobrogea alfalfa variety in the second year also make it stand out due to its regeneration capacity and other biological characteristics, aspects which are ultimately reflected in the higher yield increases.
