Argos is a growth regulator used in potato warehouses to avoid tuber sprouting during storage.
Physico-chemical properties: liquid form, colorless, lemon smell. The active ingredient of the product is of natural origin.
Mode of action:
It is a contact product with a shock effect, which volatilizes in a few hours and leaves no residue in the tubers.
Dose – 100 ml / ton
Application time:
Argos is applied for the first time to stored potatoes, one month after harvest.
A maximum of 9 treatments can be applied at an interval of 21 days.
Treatment preparation:
The product is ready to use, open the package and insert it into the intake tube.
The product is then transferred to the aerosol generator, and applied to the upper part of the storage room.
Application technique:
Equipment will be used to create cold or warm fog!!!
In order to ensure proper and homogeneous deposition of product vapors, the doors must remain closed for 24 hours, and the room will be ventilated only to recirculate the air inside without outside air input.
After this period, a minimum fresh air ventilation time of 30 minutes is required before the operator re-enters the warehouse.
Hygiene measures and work protection:
Avoid inhalation or contact of the product with eyes and skin. During work, protective equipment must be worn, no drinking, no eating and no smoking.
Do not contaminate water, food, feed, seeds and their packaging.
Keep the product out of the reach of children and other unauthorized persons and animals.
Environmental protection measures:
To avoid water contamination, the product must be applied at a distance of 15 m from water surfaces.
Do not pour on the ground.
Do not empty into waterways/surface water/ground water.
