Captan 80 WDG is a contact fungicide that provides excellent control of a wide spectrum of diseases in vegetable crops and fruit trees.
Mode of action:
Captan 80 WDG acts by blocking the processes of respiration and cellular division of pathogens. Depending on the climatic conditions, Captan 80 WDG has a residue of 7-20 days on the plant. It favors the healing of wounds caused by some external agents.
Application recommendations:
Captan 80 WDG is applied preventive during vegetation. Normal volumes of water specific to the type of crop and vegetation stage are used. Applied to the last spraying of apples, it improves the keeping capacity and the commercial appearance,it provides the fruit with the color and shine characteristic of the variety.
The product is compatible with most of the insecticides and fungicides currently used in Romania, with the exception of calcium and barium polysulphides, Bordelaise and other substances with a strong alkaline reaction. Do not mix with oily products. Before use, consult the compatibility tables and perform a test.
