Allowin is a molluscicide designed to combat slugs and snails from agricultural crops. It kills snails and slugs by irreversibly destroying the mucus production cells that are essential for movement as well as by interference with the cholinergic nervous system. Under high infestation pressure it may be necessary to repeat application. Best results are achieved by application during mild damp weather when Snails and Slugs are most active, but when rain is not imminent. For seedlings, apply 5 to 10 days prior to planting.
