Massouda F1 is a kapia pepper hybrid from Rijk Zwaan. The plant has a compact growth, with a vertical port. The foliage is rich and strongly developed, the fruits will always be protected from sunburn. Due to the strong root system the plants are balanced and have a vigorous growth. The fruits have a conical shape, in 3 edges, width 5-6 cm at the top and length 17-25 cm. Average weight between 150-180 g / fruit. The color of the fruit is dark green, and at full maturity they become dark red - attractive at maturity. Fresh fruits are not sensitive to the phenomenon of cracking and do not have micro-cracks in the pulp of the fruit. The fruit behaves excellently in transport, and the total number of fruits sold on the market is very high. We recommend cultivation in the open field, in an intensive or semi-intensive system, but also in greenhouses and solariums to obtain earlier productions. Recommended for fresh consumption but also for processing (baked, fried).
