Vasanta este un hibrid de tomate cu creștere semi-determinată care prezintă și rezistență la TYLCV (Virusul încrețirii galbene a frunzelor de tomate), de la Rijk Zwaan. Hibrid timpuriu, foarte productiv, s-au recoltat până la 8 kg fructe/plantă la stațiunea de cercetare a Rijk Zwaan. Plantele au vigoare mare, sunt puternice și au portul închis. Se poate cultiva atât cu 1 braț, cât și cu 2 brațe. Cultura pe 1 singur braț va produce fructe mai timpuriu, iar cea cu 2 brațe va oferi mai multe fructe. Denumire număr de cod 73-703 RZ. Prezintă fructe de calitate excelentă, de culoare roșu închis, plăcut. Fructele sunt ferme și au formă rotundă, iar greutatea medie este cuprinsă între 170-200 g. Hibridul prezintă o legare de rod bună, dacă condițiile sunt optime poate lega foarte ușor 40-50 fructe vandabile/plantă. Recomandat pentru cultivare în ciclu I, în spații protejate pentru a beneficia de timpurietatea hibridului.
